Steamed Coconut Blossoms..

 
 
isikan adunan, filling dan tutup dengan adunan tepung
 
 
Yesterday, I tried to make Coconut Blossoms after abandoning the recipe for over a few years. You see, that Softasilk flour is just so hard to find. I guess they don't produce this anymore. Maybe? So I substituted this with all-purpose flour. But then again I could very well use Cake flour. And it did turned out all right. Brought some to taranum class and the rest ...... is history!






Steamed coconut Blossoms

Bahan A:
3 biji telur sejuk
220g gula halus
275g Softasilk
3 s.k. baking powder
1 s.k. ovelette
140g coconut cream


Filling B:
50g gula
125g gula melaka
1 s.k. cornflour dibancuh dengan 50g air
3 helai daun pandan
225g kelapa parut


Semua bahan-bahan A dipukul dengan high speed. Bahagikan kepada beberapa bahgian lalu di warna mengikut kegemaran anda. Masukkan sedikit adunan kedalam acuan kemudian bubuhkan fillingnya lalu ditutup lagi dengan adunan tepung. Kukus lah selama 15 minit.

Bahan-bahan untuk filling hendaklah disatukan lalu dimasak hingga kering.
